Shleep

How many sheep do you need to sleep?

I small idea that becomes big on the screen! A game that is at the same time relaxing as it is good at building a bit of tension additional to a dash of humour every step of the way.

9/10 concept

This is an excellent concept and it is manifested in a beautiful way.

9/10 aesthetics and ambience

The look and feel is perfectly appropriate as a dreamy landscape with a twist of humour.

8/10 gameplay and game mechanics

The game is brought to life with good game balance. It is an appropriately easy game so that the player can focus on the greater experience of enjoying the game. The game tooltips are basic text and perhaps some gaming interface might be considered. However, these being simple small text does help to shift the focus to the audio and visual aspects of the game.

3/10 enchantment

It is an enthralling game and I can imagine that some players might attempt to replay or to do speed runs of the game, however, for me it was about a half our of mild attention, which puts it at an enchantment level of 3.

9/10 polish

The game feels complete and well finished if you accept if for what it is.

This game scores 38 out of 50 which is 76%.

If enchantment is left out of the calculation this game scores 35 out of 40 or 88%.

This scoring system is very strict on small games or mini games, but that does help when games are compared to each other and also to indicate the potential value a player will get out of playing and/or acquiring the game.

There is no rule that says a game must be long, even a short game should be able to get a perfect score. However, with this particular rating system there is a built in penalty for short games. The reason is so that the rating system can be a guidance to gaming customers about the potential value of the game for them as a player.
