Bugs! Catch them! Go to battle with them!

This charming little game would make a great gift for a kid. Go to different locations, catch bugs, learn about them and even go to battle with them. Earn money when you win battles and upgrade your equipment. This little game has it all!

9/10 concept

A wonderful concept to keep kids busy.

9/10 aesthetics and ambience

The audio and visual creations create the perfect atmosphere for catching bugs.

9/10 gameplay and game mechanics

Easy to use but exciting game mechanic is used for the bug battles as well as for capturing bugs.

2/10 enchantment

If you enjoy playing this game it certainly has an element of replay-ability and the full game can potentially keep you busy for hours on end. However, this demo kept my full attention for about 15 minutes which places it at an enchantment level of 2. The full game possibly has the potential of being at the level of 6 to 8 for enchantment which would then give it a score of 84 to 88%.

9/10 polish

No problems where found.

This game scores 38 out of 50 which is 76%.

If enchantment is left out of the calculation this game scores 36 out of 40 or 90%.

This scoring system is very strict on small games or mini games, but that does help when games are compared to each other and also to indicate the potential value a player will get out of playing and/or acquiring the game.

There is no rule that says a game must be long, even a short game should be able to get a perfect score. However, with this particular rating system there is a built in penalty for short games. The reason is so that the rating system can be a guidance to gaming customers about the potential value of the game for them as a player.
